A 3-man-scramble golf tournament will begin at 8 a.m. Oct. 1 at Shadow Creek Country Club in Sallisaw to raise money for the Sallisaw Educational Foundation Endowment Fund. The entry fee is $150 per team, which includes green fees, a cart and lunch. Cash prizes will be awarded to the top three teams in each flight. If anyone gets a hole-in-one at the third hole they will win a new vehicle from Blue Ribbon Chrysler/Dodge/Plymouth/Jeep Inc. The Badger Lee Baptist Church annual homecoming will be held Sunday. A hog-fry and fish-fry lunch is planned after the worship service and everyone is invited to attend. The New Creation, Heaven Bound and other groups will be singing.

The Central High School yearbook staff is researching the history of the school and needs old yearbooks or photos of students or buildings prior to 1970 along with any historical information about Central School.
