Black Diamonds to check out equipment next week

Football equipment will be checked out to Sallisaw high school and middle school players next week, said Black Diamond head coach Craig Benson.

High school players can pick up their equipment from 9 a.m. to noon on Thursday, Aug. 7, at the field house.

Middle school players can get their equipment on Friday, Aug.8, from 9 a.m. to noon at the middle school dressing room.

Pictures for the high school football team will be taken on Monday, Aug. 11, at Perry F. Lattimore Stadium beginning at 5 p.m. The high school team will open practice on Tuesday, Aug. 12, with sessions set for 1:30 and 5:30 p.m.
