Funeral services for Claris Morgan Wallace, 73, of Muldrow, were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Agent Chapel in Muldrow with Bros. Mike Nabors, Raymond Chronister and Dale Doss officiating.

Burial was in Maple Cemetery in Muldrow, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Muldrow.

Mrs. Wallace was born Sept. 11, 1933, in Muldrow, to Andrew Isaac Morgan and Alice Caroline (Barker) Morgan. She died Thursday, July 19, 2007, in Sallisaw.

Mrs. Wallace was a seamstress and attended the Maple Freewill Baptist Church.

She married Harold Dean Wallace, Dec. 22, 1951, in Van Buren, Ark.

Survivors include her husband, of the home; two daughters and two sons-in-law, Judy and Dr. Jon Remer of Fort Smith, Ark. and Carol and Darrell Hill of Muldrow; four sons and three daughters-in-law, Gary and Deborah Wallace of Fairview, Tenn., Terry and Lisa Wallace of Muldrow and Michael Wallace and Dwight and Gail Wallace all of Fort Smith; eight grandchildren, Angela, Andrew, Joshua and Haley Wallace, Carol Ann and Derek Hill and Jarrod Remer and Kayla Plank; four great-grandchildren, Jacob, Joseph, Taylor and Austin; one sister, Marie McAlphin of Fort Smith; one sister-in-law, Merle Morgan of La Junta, Colo.; two brothers, Junior Morgan of Muldrow and Donald Morgan of Van Buren; one brother-in-law, Jack Norrid of Muldrow; and several other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters, Lillie Sharver, Delcie Norrid and Lois Cole and two brothers, John Morgan and Floyd Morgan of Mudlrow.

Pallbearers were Tom Randolph, Darrell Woodard, Marty Green, Ed Green, Robert Casey, Paul Larcade and Blake Rainwater.

Memorials may be made to the Maple Freewill Baptist Church.
