Sallisaw 38, Muldrow 0
The Black Diamonds stayed undefeated on Friday night with a shutout win over Muldrow at Perry F. Lattimore Stadium.
Bubba Philpot did not play, but the Diamonds got a pair of first-half touchdown runs from Kyle Stewart, who scored from five and two yards out. Jacob Bartel added a 12-yard TD pass to Trevor Teel for a 21-0 halftime lead.
Joseph Branham rumbled for a 22-yard TD in the third quarter and, after Dustin Edgmon's 33-yard field goal, scored from one yard out.
Sallisaw is now 3-0. Muldrow dropped to 1-2.
Roland 26, Wilburton 6
ROLAND - Matt Goodson carried the football 37 times for 235 yards on Friday night to guide the Rangers past Wilburton.
Goodson scored on runs of 2, 57 and 9 yards for Roland and Spencer Owens sealed the Rangers' first victory of the year with a 1-yard TD run in the fourth quarter.
Roland is now 1-2 heading into district play. Wilburton slumped to 0-3.
Gore 61, Hulbert 22
GORE - Jordan Andrews ran for 235 yards and scored five touchdowns as Gore knocked Hulbert from the ranks of the unbeaten on Friday night at K.G. Horn Stadium.
Andrews scored on runs of 4, 27, 4 and 10 yards in addition to catching a 44-yard TD pass from Eric Thomas. Damon Sheffield, Robby Summerlin, Jerard Finch and Cody Sloan also ran for touchdowns in the romp.
The Pirates stayed undefeated at 3-0 in all games and are now 2-0 in District A-7. Hulbert fell to 2-1 and 1-1.
Vian 63, Pocola 0 POCOLA - The Wolverines improved to 3-0 overall and 2-0 in District A-7 thanks to a dominant defensive effort and a big night running the football by Vfastv Locust.
The Vian defense shut down a Pocola offense that had been averaging 39 points a game and limited the Indians to minus-two yards of total offense.
Locust sparked the offense with 183 yards rushing on nine carries as the Wolverines dropped Pocola to 1-2 overall and 1-1 in the district.
Central 40, Dewar 12
The Tigers had a strong home-opener on Friday as they scored 34 first-half points to hand Dewar its first loss of the season.
Central ran its record to 2-1 in all games and 2-0 in District B-4 with its second-straight victory.
Webbers Falls 56, Arkoma 6
WEBBERS FALLS - Derek Dandridge scored six touchdowns to lead the Warriors to a mercy rule win over Arkoma Friday night at Smokey Cox Stadium.
Dandridge scored on runs of 3, 3, 35 and 20 yards, returned a punt 35 yards for another touchdown and also ran back a fumble 38 yards for the final touchdown of the night.
Cory Mickles added touchdown runs of 34 and 58 yards to help Webbers Falls move to 1-2 overall and 1-1 in District C-4. Arkoma slipped to 0-3 and 0-1.
"Derek had six touchdowns and he did it a lot of different ways," said Webbers Falls head coach Tom Butler. "He ran for 148 yards and Cory Mickles added another 101 yards. We just ran it up the middle and both guys did a great job."
Gans 46, Wetumka 28
WETUMKA - Gans played its first road game of the season and returned with a win on Friday night.
The Grizzlies moved to 3-0 overall and 2-0 in District B-4 ahead of next Friday's showdown with top-ranked Weleetka. Wetumka fell to 1-2 and 0-2.
