No justice in county

Dear Editor:

There were two men charged with molestation. These two losers got 25 years in prison. My question is to the justice and the courthouse.

I know of two little children about these girls' ages that were did the same way. They gave the attacker 20 years supervised probation and he had to sign in as a sex offender, so my next question is why do these courts give these losers prison time and let the other losers walk the streets?

It really bothers me that they will send one person to prison and let the other walk for the same crime. There is no justice in our county.

I have nothing on my record other than no seat belt or a traffic ticket, but you can bet if I did these the justice system would send me down the road.

If one does the same crime they should all be punished the same way.

As I have said, these judges let these crooks walk. They get a slap on the wrist. It's no wonder these prisons are overcrowded. They send the people who do drugs to prison, and they let the hardcore criminals walk.

These courts need to wake up and change their way of thinking. Stop sending the drug users to prison and send these child molesters and killers to prison or on the front row of Iraq where they may not come back, and value others' lives instead of getting to live their sorry lives hurting others and walking free. Maybe they would be begging for their lives over in Iraq.

My second question is if the opposite side on the Bill Poindexter case needs to pay Bill what is owed to him instead of trying to beat a working man out of his wages. Good luck to you Bill. I hope you take them for a million dollars. If not, you should.

No offense is met toward any one or more persons thank you.

After an experiment that lasted several months, the editors at Your TIMES decided this week to end the practice of allowing anonymous comments on our website because most of the comments involve personal attacks and unfounded accusations. These comments do not add information to a story, or add any true insight. While we believe in the free exchange of ideas, it had become evident that was not what was happening in the comment section of our website. Readers can also become fans of Your TIMES on Facebook and may comment on our postings there. Readers are also encouraged to write letters to the editor to the newspaper about matters of public interest. The newspaper circulation is several times that of the web site, so readership is much higher. Letters must include a name and phone number so that we may contact the writer to verify authenticity of the letter. Letters are limited to 500 words and one letter per writer per month is accepted.
