Bench Warrants Issued In Child Support Cases

Richard L. Gray, Sequoyah County District Attorney, said Tuesday that warrants were issued for six non-custodial parents who failed to appear for the child support docket in Sequoyah County District Court on Sept. 21.

Gray said District Judge Mike Norman ordered bench warrants be issued for those who failed to appear as summoned. Those seven non-custodial parents for whom warrants were issued are:

* Susan Andrews - $3,000 cash bond only.

* Gary Whisenant - $8,500 cash bond only.

* Johathan Pettit - $22,000 cash bond only.

* Michael Parker - $13,000 cash bond only.

* Ronnie Dean - $9,000 cash bond only.

* Alvin Biggers - $19,000 cash bond only and $18,000 cash bond only.

Gray said, "My office will continue to support the Oklahoma Child Support Enforcement mission to enhance the well being of children. We establish, monitor and enforce a reliable source of support for the families we serve."
