Congressman Plans Town Hall Meeting

U.S. Congressman Dan Boren (D-Okla.) announced Wednesday he will hold a town hall meeting at 5 p.m. Aug. 11 in the conference room at Carl Albert State College, Sallisaw campus.

Boren said he is holding a series of town hall meetings across the Second Congressional District to discuss the work he is doing as eastern Oklahoma's representative in Washington, D.C.

Boren said he will also take questions on issues before Congress.

The public is invited and encouraged to attend, Boren said.
