Sallisaw 51, Idabel 14

Kyle Stewart ran for four touchdowns on Friday night to guide the Black Diamonds to a homecoming victory over Idabel at Perry F. Lattimore Stadium.

Stewart reached the end zone on runs of 48, 19, 1 and 5 yards as the Diamonds improved to 5-1 overall and 2-1 in District 4A-4. Matt Hancock opened the scoring in the first quarter with a 3-yard run and Jacob Bartel tossed a pair of second-half TD passes to tight end Stephen Branham. Dustin Edgmon's field goal capped the scoring.

Idabel slipped to 0-3 in the district and 2-4 overall.

Victory Christian 41, Roland 12

ROLAND - Heath Matlock gave the Rangers an early lead, but Victory Christian roared back to grab the District 3A-4 win on Friday night.

Matlock intercepted a pass at the two-yard line and raced 98 yards down the Roland sideline to hand the Rangers a brief 6-0 lead.

However, Michael Thomas scored on a 35-yard touchdown run to pull the Conquerors back into the game and they went on to run their record to 3-3 overall and 2-1 in the district.

Roland fell to 2-4 and 1-2.

Gans 46, Porum 14

PORUM - The Grizzlies went on the road and handed Porum its second loss of the season on Friday night.

Gans improved to 5-1 overall and 3-1 in District B-4 while dropping the Panthers to 4-2 and 3-2.

Central 40, Haileyville 20

The Tigers won for the fifth-straight week, picking up a District B-4 win on their home field Friday night.

The homecoming triumph lifted Central's record to 5-1 overall and 4-0 in the league. Haileyville, which had won two in a row coming into the game, fell to 3-3 and 2-3.

Vian 62, Panama 0

VIAN - The Wolverine Express rolled over another opponent on Friday night as Vian stayed undefeated with a blowout win over Panama.

Vian is now6-0 in all games and 5-0 in District A-7. Panama fell to 4-2 and 2-2.
