Funeral services for Irma Walters, 85, of Nicut, are being held at 2 p.m. on Saturday at the Copic Missionary Baptist Church north of Muldrow, with the Revs. Kenneth Walters and Floyd Kester Jr. officiating.

Burial is in Seabolt Cemetery north of Muldrow, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw.

She was born on June 26, 1919, in Hagans Mountain, to Thomas Calvin Hagan and Cora (Vickery) Hagan. She died on Thursday, Nov. 18, 2004, in Fort Smith, Ark.

Mrs. Walters was a homemaker and was of the Assembly of God faith.

She married Ted J. Walters on Nov. 24, 1939, in Short. He preceded her in death on April 16, 1981.

Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Harold T. and Julie Walters of Nicut; one daughter-in-law, Maxine Walters of Nicut; one brother, John Hagan of Broken Arrow; one grandson, Greg Walters of Nicut.

She was also preceded in death by one sister, Anita Russell in 1991; one brother, Bart Hagan in 1984; and one son, Wayne Walters in 2001.

Pallbearers are Bill Vickery, Dewey Walters, James Nelson, Brad Likens, Dean Russell and Elmer Workman.

Alternate pallbearer are James Armer and Roger Coleman.

Honorary pallbearers are Nicut Fire Department and George Waters.
