ROLAND - The Ranger defense collected its first shutout of the season on Friday night as Roland topped Spiro 21-0 in a non-district football game at Ranger Stadium.

Roland took the lead in the first half when Drew Roberts threw a 25-yard touchdown pass to Cory Freeman. The Rangers pulled away after the break with a safety and a pair of Teven Thompson touchdown runs to move to 2-1 on the season.

Spiro dropped to 0-3.

Sallisaw 34, Tahlequah 13

TAHLEQUAH - The Black Diamonds came away with the win to stay undefeated on Friday night at Doc Wadley Stadium.

Sallisaw is now 3-0 entering Friday's District 4A-4 clash at Broken Bow.

Muldrow 43, Stilwell 12

MULDROW - The Bulldogs improved to 3-0 on the season after dominating the first half and cruising to the win on Friday night.

Muldrow jumped out to a 34-6 lead by halftime and sealed the victory after the break with a safety and a one-yard Dillon Oden touchown run to drop Stilwell to 0-3.

Next up for Muldrow is the District 4A-4 opener at Wagoner on Friday night.

Webbers Falls 50, Kinta 0

WEBBERS FALLS - The Warriors made their home-opener a successful one on Friday night, romping to a mercy rule win over visiting Kinta.

Webbers Falls is now 2-1 overall and 2-0 in District C-4. The Warriors will travel to Maud on Friday night.
