Lady Bulldog Comeback Stuns Roland

MULDROW - Two games into their fastpitch softball season, the Muldrow Lady Bulldogs have already developed a flair for the dramatic.

After a last-inning rally came up just short in their opener last week against Sallisaw, the Lady Bulldogs pulled off a stunning comeback to snatch an 8-7 win over Roland in a nine-inning thriller on Monday night.

Muldrow evened its record at 1-1 on the season by storming back from a five-run deficit in the bottom of the seventh to force extra innings. Then, in the bottom of the ninth, Andrea Lopez smacked a walk-off triple to drive in the winning run and complete the Lady Bulldog rally.

Roland slipped to 1-4 with the setback, but the visiting Lady Rangers appeared to be in control for much of the contest. Natalie Pe
