Wilma Eagle Celebrates 75th Birthday

Wilma Glen Eagle of the Scratchout community, north of Muldrow, will celebrate her 75th birthday on Monday.

She was born on Dec. 6, 1929, and has been a resident of the Scratchout community for 34 years.

Mrs. Eagle is retired from Sparks Regional Medical Center in Fort Smith, Ark., after 22 years of service and is a member of New Hope Baptist Church northeast of Sallisaw.

Her children are Peggy Page of Brunswick, Mo., Beth Meade of Dalton, Mo., Jennifer Dobbs of Sallisaw and Greg Tietjens, Glenna Allen and LouAnna Eagle, all of Muldrow. Two of her children, Stanley Tietjens and Evelyn Eagle, are deceased.

She also has two step-daughters, Melinda Kline of Scranton, Kan., and Shirley Eagle of Fort Smith.
