Hume and Hurley were two of eight placers for the Black Diamonds, who tallied 145 team points. Glenpool won the tournament with 202.5 points with Chickasha (200) second and Deer Creek (154) third.
Hurley dominated his weight class, pinning each of his opponents in the first round on the way to the championship at 171 pounds. He was named Outstanding Wrestler and also received a trophy for the most falls in the least amount of time.
Hume took first place in the 119-pound weight class, winning an 11-5 decision in the finals.
Sallisaw also had a pair of runner-up finishes. Freshman Shane Flashner advanced to the finals at 160 pounds and freshman Grant Daffin placed second at 112.
Other Sallisaw placers were Tim Humpherys, fifth at 103 pounds; Randy Johnson, sixth at 135; Casey Middleton, sixth at 152; and Allen Fair, sixth at 189.
Sallisaw, which suffered a dual loss on Monday night at Stilwell, will be back in action on Thursday when the Diamonds host Okmulgee.
