Judge Issues Bench Warrants For Six

Bench warrants were issued for six non-custodial parents who failed to appear in court during the Aug. 16 Child Support Docket in Sequoyah County District Court in Sallisaw.

Sequoyah County District Attorney Richard L. Gray announced Friday that District Judge Mike Norman ordered that bench warrants be issued for those who failed to appear as summoned. The six non-custodial parents for whom warrants were issued include:

  • Mario Arroyo - $2,200
  • James Bolden - $5,400
  • Roger Gilbreth - $664
  • Robert Harris - $1,400
  • Robert J. Smith Sr. - $5,400


  • James Willett - $1,991


  • "My office will continue to support the Oklahoma Child Support Enforcement mission to enhance the well being of children, we establish, monitor and enforce a reliable source of support for the families we serve," Gray said.

    Gray's Child Support Enforcement Office will be available between the hours of 1 and 3 p.m on the first Wednesday of every month at the offices of the Oklahoma Department of Human Services in Stilwell. All current and prospective customers are invited to visit with Sallisaw Child Support Enforcement case workers in Stilwell on the first Wednesday of the month or at 1611 S. Kerr Blvd. in Sallisaw from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on any work day.

    Anyone owing child support is encouraged to call 1 (800) 522-2922 or contact the local offices in Sallisaw or Tahlequah to make payment arrangements.
