Diamonds Place 5 On All-District Team

Five players from Sallisaw have been selected by league coaches for the 2004 All-District 4A-4 Football Team.

Jody Kilpatrick, Derek Ledford, Sam Tehee, Mitch Oliver and Steven Armstrong are the Black Diamonds representatives on the all-district squad. Three other Sallisaw players received honorable mention: Kenny Wilson, James Riggs and Matt Merrill.

The following is a complete of the all-district football players.

All-District Team

Sallisaw: Jody Kilpatrick, Derek Ledford, Sam Tehee, Mitch Oliver, Steven Armstrong.

Broken Bow: Antonio Rogers, Brett Williams, Trevor Matlock, Josh Pike, John Giddens, Ryan Sharrock, Angelo Tinajero.

Fort Gibson: Craig Collins, Ian Sears, Blake Pirtle, Terrance Gaston, John Booker, Brandon Clagg, Kris Elliot, Shane Christy, Jeff Walker, Evan Cooper.

Hilldale: Adam Pemberton, Matt Emery, Josh Grandstaff, Brandon Lund, Adam Cotten, Ben Clark, Rusty Klime, Corey Keifer.

Receiver of the Year: Ryan Gallimore (Okmulgee).

Co-Offensive Linemen of the Year: Chris Kondos (Poteau) and Cody Wright (Stilwell).

Co-Defensive Linemen of the Year: Kevin Frasier (Broken Bow) and Charlie Brown (Hilldale).

Linebacker of the Year: Langston Moore (Broken Bow).

Defensive Back of the Year: Antwon Ayers (Broken Bow).

Special Teams Player of the Year: Kyle Schulz (Fort Gibson)

Coach of the Year: Greg Werner (Broken Bow).
