Funeral services for Pat Ball, 72, of Stigler, were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Mallory Chapel in Stigler with Rev. Eubert Owens officiating.

Burial was in Antioch Cemetery, under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory of Stigler.

Mrs. Ball was born April 25, 1935, in Stigler, to William and Minnie Mae (Shaver) Stubblefield. She died Monday, Sept. 29, 2007, in Fort Smith, Ark.

Mrs. Ball enjoyed talking on the phone and spending time with family and friends.

Survivors include three daughters, Glenda Vaupel and her husband, Brent, of Sallisaw, Ginger Kirkland and her husband, Jerry, and Karen Boren and her husband, Rick, all of Stigler; four sisters, Pauline Green, Jewel Collins, and Joann Hall all of Stigler and Patsy Stubblefield of Spiro; two brothers, Sam Stubblefield of Stigler and Jim Stubblefield of Muldrow; six grandchildren, Chris Taylor of Pocola, Waylon Vauple of Gore, and Heather Kirkland, Jared Kirkland, Summer Boren and Aaron Boren all of Stigler; and two great-grandchildren, Hunter Taylor and Olivia Taylor of Pocola.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, John "Spence" Ball and one brother, Bill Stubblefield.

Pallbearers were Paul Green, Gary Stubblefield, Victor Hall, Larry Collins, Jared Kirkland and Chris Taylor.

Honorary pallbearers were John Green, Roy Hall and Jimmy Collins.
