Funeral services for Jerry Lee Rape Rogers, 66, of Sallisaw, are being held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Agent Chapel in Sallisaw with Rev. Monroe Lowrimore officiating.

Burial is in the Sallisaw City Cemetery, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw.

Mr. Rogers was born Feb. 26, 1941, to Cletus and Jess (Roberts) Rape. He died Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2007.

Mr. Rogers was a lifelong Sallisaw native and longtime local business owner. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army during the Vietnam era. He was a graduate of Sallisaw High School and received his college degree from Northeastern State University in Tahlequah.

Survivors include his wife, of 26 and one half years, Jena Rogers of Sallisaw; two daughters, Kim Brown and her husband, Gary, of Sallisaw, and Kelly Waters and her husband, David, of Powderly, Texas; four grandchildren, Malyn Rogers, Preston Waters, Tristan Brown and Kira Brown; one sister, Shirley Keeter of Tulsa; two brothers, Bob of Tahlequah and Billy Don and his wife, Dee, of Sallisaw; and several other relatives and friends, including, Leeroy Anderson, Lois Rape and Ken Keeter.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Patsy Anderson.

Pallbearers are family members, Ken, Kenny, and Rob Keeter, Bob and Billy Don Rape and Leeroy Anderson.

Visitation with friends will be from 1 till 9 p.m., Friday, at the Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw.
