* Liberty Elementary School north of Roland will hold a Title One and Title Seven public hearing and committee meeting at 3:30 p.m. Monday in the school superintendent's office.

* Members of Blunt Baptist Church will hold their annual Fall Harvest Festival from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the church, five miles north of Sallisaw on Highway 17. The event will include free food, a cake walk, hayrides and other activities.

* The TACO Fall Flea Market will be held from 7:30 a.m. until 4 p.m. both days, Nov. 4 and 5, at the TACO Building and Grounds on Mullens Drive, next to the airport, in Cookson.

* A Women in the Outdoors Workshop will be held at Tenkiller State Park Nov. 5 and 6. The workshop is sponsored by the National Wild Turkey Federation. A potluck dinner will be held at 6 p.m. Nov. 5 in the park's community building. A stargazing party will be held at 8 p.m. Nov. 5 behind Cabin 27. * Vian Baptist Church members are holding their fourth annual Fall Harvest Festival from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the church. The event, for children up to the sixth grade, will include game booths, prizes, a cake walk, snacks and drawings for prizes. The festival is free, and planners ask that no one wear frightening costumes please.

Readers can also become fans of Your TIMES on Facebook and may comment on our postings there. Readers are also encouraged to write letters to the editor to the newspaper about matters of public interest. The newspaper circulation is several times that of the web site, so readership is much higher. Letters must include a name and phone number so that we may contact the writer to verify authenticity of the letter. Letters are limited to 500 words and one letter per writer per month is accepted.
