The triumph improved Gans record to 9-1 overall and 7-1 in District B-4, while Cave Springs closed its season at 1-9 and 1-7.
The Grizzlies opened up a 22-0 lead by halftime and went on to score the first 40 points of the game. They went up 6-0 in the first quarter when Nick Woodruff passed to Kyle John for a 22-yard touchdown.
Jake Knapp scored the next two Gans' TDs in the second quarter, reaching the end zone on a seven-yard run and a one-yard run. He added the two-point conversion after each touchdown.
The Grizzlies extended their lead in the third period when Kameron Pastore recovered a blocked punt in the end zone for a touchdown. Woodruff passed to John for the conversion, making it 30-0 wit 9:04 left in the third.
The Grizzly defense tacked on another four points with two safeties later in the quarter. Gary Southern got the first one when he sacked the Cave Springs quarterback in the end zone and Nick Gard got the second with another tackle in the end zone.
Knapp fumbled at the one-yard line later in the quarter and Gans teammate Zackary Whitman fell on the ball in the end zone for a touchdown, making it 40-0.
Cave Springs eventually got on the scoreboard in the fourth period, when quarterback Bryan Girdner went 64 yards on an option keeper. He passed to Eddie Rabbitt for the conversion with 5:44 left.
Gans blocked another punt late in the game and Andy Hess recovered in the end zone with 1:27 to go. Devlin Brown ran for the two-point conversion to cap the scoring.
Knapp led Gans in rushing with 14 carries for 90 yards, while Girdner paced Cave Springs with 55 on eight attempts.
Gans had 83 yards passing with John catching two passes for 42 yards.
