Warrants Issued For Non-payments

Richard L. Gray, Sequoyah County District Attorney, announced last week that during the Child Support Docket in Sequoyah County District Court on Nov. 16, there were non-custodial parents who failed to appear in court.

District Judge Mike Norman ordered bench warrants be issued for those who failed to appear. The non-custodial parents for whom warrants were issued are:

*Jonathan Williams - $8,900, cash bond only

*James Fleetwood - $7,000, cash bond only

*James Fleetwood - $55,000, cash bond only

*Johnathan Bagley - $11,000, cash bond only

*Louis Coday - $17,000, cash bond only

District Attorney Gray said, "My office will continue to support the Oklahoma Child Support Enforcement mission - to enhance the well being of children, we establish, monitor and enforce a reliable source of support for the families we serve."

Sallisaw Child Support Enforcement caseworkers are in the district office at 1611 S. Kerr Blvd in Sallisaw on any work day from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. Anyone owing child support is encouraged to call 1-800-522-2922 or contact the local offices in Sallisaw or Tahlequah to make payment arrangements.

The district attorney's Child Support Enforcement Office will be available on the first Wednesday of every month at the offices of Oklahoma Department of Human Services in Stilwell between the hours of 1 and 3 p.m.
