* Members of the Tenkiller Women's Club will hold their December luncheon meeting at noon Dec. 21 at the United Methodist Church in Cookson. Barbara Bumbaugh will present the program on Africa based on her experiences when she lived there. The cost for the lunch will be $8.50. The lunch will be catered by Beth Rogers and the Humane Society of Tahlequah. To make reservations contact Barbara Dodd at (918) 457-4748 as soon as possible. All area women are invited to attend and join the club.

* Members of the Muldrow Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) will hold a pancake breakfast from 7 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the VFW building on Wilson Rock Road, south of Muldrow. The meals will be $3 for adults and $1.50 for children 12 and under. The breakfast is a benefit for Terry Chamberlain.
