Members of Masonic Lodge No. 120 in Sallisaw will hold an All-You-Can-Eat Breakfast from 7 to 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 5, at the lodge, which is across from Sequoyah Memorial Hospital. The menu includes pancakes, sausage, biscuits and gravy, coffee, juice and milk for $4 for adults and $2 for children age 12 and under.

A 10-week Cherokee language class will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. every Monday, beginning Jan. 7, at the Muldrow Cherokee Community Organization Activity Center in Muldrow. Jim Henson will be the instructor.
A 10-week Stop Smoking class will begin at 3 p.m. Monday, Jan. 7, at the Muldrow Cherokee Community Organization (MCCO) Activity Center in Muldrow. The class is sponsored by the MCCO and the Redbird Smith Health Clinic in Sallisaw. The class has no fees and no requirements.
The next General Education Development (GED) test will be given at 7 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 8, at the Adult Education Center at 312 S. Walnut in Sallisaw. Bill London, the interim school superintendent at Marble City School, will meet and greet school patrons from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Jan. 14, before the regularly scheduled school board meeting. Refreshments will be served.
Belfonte School will have an open meeting on the school's Impact Aid Program, Title VII and Indian Policy and Procedures at 6 p.m. Monday, Jan. 14, in the office of the school superintendent. Parents, patrons and interested parties may attend and give their opinions of the programs.
The eighth annual Central School College and Career Fair will be held from 8:30 a.m. until noon Tuesday, Jan. 15, in the FEMA building at Central School. Representatives from colleges and businesses will be available to speak to students about plans for their futures.
A beans, cornbread and all the fixings lunch will be held from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 17, at the OSU Extension Building on the Sallisaw Rodeo Grounds. The lunch will be sponsored by the Sequoyah Home Community Educators (HCE) and the meal, including dessert and a drink, will be $5 per person. To go plates will also be available for $5. A marriage and family class will be offered at the Muldrow Cherokee Community Activity Center beginning at 6 p.m. Friday Jan. 18. The free 10-week class is geared toward the younger family with children, the single parent family and the blended families with step children. Larry Edwards of Muldrow will be teaching the class. Door prizes will be drawn for each night.
Exercise and Nutrition classes will begin at 2 p.m. Monday, Jan. 28, at the Muldrow Cherokee Community Organization (MCCO) Activity Center in Muldrow. The free 12-week class is sponsored by MCCO members and the Redbird Health Clinic, and will be taught by Mary Owl-Batt from the clinic.
