Arrested as a result of the investigation were Ashley Jordan Gleason of Sallisaw, and Carl Lee Hendricks and Michelle Yvonne Hendricks, both of Muldrow, the Drug Task Force press release reported. They were arrested at Carl’s Auto Repair in Muldrow.
Gleason, 25, was booked into the Sequoyah County Jail on charges of endeavoring to manufacture a controlled dangerous substance, trafficking in a controlled dangerous substance, possession of a police scanner in commission of a felony, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Jail records indicate that she is currently being held without bond.
Carl Hendricks, 39, was booked into the county jail on charges of endeavoring to manufacture a controlled dangerous substance, trafficking in a controlled dangerous substance, possession of a police scanner in commission of a felony, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Jail records indicate that he is also being held without bond.
Michelle Hendricks, 44, was booked into the Sequoyah County Jail on charges of endeavoring to manufacture a controlled dangerous substance, trafficking in a controlled dangerous substance, possession of a controlled dangerous substance with intent to distribute, possession of a police scanner in commission of a felony, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Jail records indicate that she is currently being held without bond.
The press release reports that a Sequoyah County Sheriff’s Deputy, while out performing routine duties Wednesday afternoon, detected odors associated with the manufacture of methamphetamines at the auto repair shop.
The deputy contacted the Drug Task Force and a search warrant was obtained to search the business. During the search officers at the scene reported finding chemicals and equipment commonly associated with the manufacture of methamphetamine. Officers at the scene also reported finding substances appearing to be methamphetamine, along with items of paraphernalia commonly associated with the distribution and use of controlled dangerous substances. A police scanner was also found during the search process, officers at the scene reported.
