Funeral services for Jerry Taff, 39, of Citronelle, Ala., were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Agent Chapel in Sallisaw with Daryl Legg and Darin Crawford officiating.

Burial was in Akins Cemetery under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw.

Mr. Taff was born on Nov. 4, 1970, in Tulsa to Richard Edward Taff and Judy (Shaffer) Cox. He died on Wednesday, May 26, 2010, in Mobile, Ala.

He was a maintenance worker at SPI Mobile Pulley Works in Mobile.

Survivors include one son, Jake Taff of Sallisaw; mother and stepfather, Judy and Donnie Cox of Citronelle; two brothers Richard Taff Jr. of Tulsa and Christopher Taff of Nixa, Mo.; two stepbrothers, Clinton and Logan Cox of Sallisaw; one step sister, Tammy Horn of Sallisaw; and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, one brother, Edward Taff and his paternal grandparents.

Pallbearers were Chris Duty, Peter Cottrell, Blake Lattimore, James Walters, Daryl Legg and Dewayne Martindale.
