Muldrow man arrested on drug-related charges

A Muldrow man was arrested on various drug and firearm-related charges Aug. 6, and was booked into the Sequoyah County Jail on a $50,000 bond.

Randy Thomas, 54, of Muldrow was arrested at his home south of Muldrow.

District 27 District Attorney Drug Task Force agents, accompanied by Sequoyah County Sheriff’s Deputies, executed the search warrant at Thomas’ home. Officers reported finding chemicals and equipment commonly associated with the manufacture of methamphetamine.

They also reported finding substances appearing to be methamphetamine and substances appearing to be marijuana, along with paraphernalia commonly associated with the distribution and use of controlled dangerous substances. A firearm was also found during the search officers reported.

Thomas was booked into the Sequoyah County Jail in Sallisaw on charges of endeavoring to manufacture a controlled dangerous substance, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of a controlled dangerous substance, possession of a firearm in commission of a felony, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
