Fishing Report for August 7, 2024

EUFAULA: Aug. 2. Elevation is a foot below normal and falling. The water temperature is 86 degrees and stained. Largemouth bass, smallmouth bass and spotted bass fair on crankbaits, in-line spinnerbaits and lipless baits around docks, points and riprap. White catfish, blue catfish and channel catfish fair on chicken liver, cut bait, shad and stinkbait around channels, riprap, river channel, river mouth and standing timber. Black crappie and white crappie fair on hair jigs and jigs around brush structure, docks and standing timber. Report submitted by Jake Rowland, game warden stationed in McIntosh County.
