Gore voters approve no-tax-increase bond initiative

Gore voters have approved a no-tax-increase bond initiative for $11.9 million that will fund the construction of a new lower elementary school as well as the renovation of other school buildings.

Results from Tuesday’s election show that the proposition passed by a 2-to-1 margin, 344 (66.7%) to 172 (33.3%).

The bond is a replacement bond to take the place of the current bond when it expires.
