EUFAULA: Aug. 23. Elevation is a foot below normal and falling. The water temperature is 81 degrees and stained. Largemouth, smallmouth and spotted bass fair on Alabama rigs, crankbaits, lipless baits and plastic baits around channels, docks, points and riprap. Striped bass hybrids, striped bass and white bass fair on Alabama rigs, crankbaits, jigs, lipless baits, sassy shad and shad below the dam and tailwater. Blue, channel and flathead catfish good on chicken liver, cut bait, shad and stinkbait below the dam, channels, river channel, river mouth and tailwater.
