Learning about the Boston Tea Party

Tuesday was an awesome day for learning history at Sallisaw Middle School! Mr. Knoke’s eighth grade U.S. History classes have spent the last couple of weeks learning about the Boston Tea Party. For a fun hands-on project, students had to design a container out of hot glue and popsicle sticks to keep the tea safe. To test their containers, students had to then toss them into the “Boston Harbor.”
