Local runners compete at Saturday’s state meets
EDMOND — Six local high school cross country runners ended their seasons last Saturday by running in their respective state meets at Edmond Santa Fe High School. In the Class 4A State Meet, Sallisaw’s Sama Salinas finished 31st with a time of 17:23.17. Webbers Falls Lady Warrior senior Cheyanne Herrier ended her prep career by finishing 38th (14:11.59) in the Class A Girls State Meet. In the Class 3A Girls State Meet, Roland’s Molly Carver was 32nd (13:22.09), while Roland’s Landon Killer was 60th (18:21.52) in the Class 3A Boys State Meet. Central’s Cambree Bair was 66th (14:38.5), while teammate Paris Campbell was 93rd (15:15.83) in the Class 2A Girls State Meet.
