Announcements of upcoming events for nonprofit organizations and events in Sequoyah County may be delivered to Your TIMES in several different ways. They may be mailed to or hand delivered to Your TIMES at 111 N. Oak St. in Sallisaw. Events may be telephoned in by calling (918) 775-4433, or they may be emailed to news@seqcotimes.com or from a special form on Your TIMES website at www.sequoyahcountytimes.com.

The deadline for announcements for Wednesday’s edition is 11 a.m. on Tuesday. The deadline for announcements in Friday’s edition is 11 a.m. Thursday.

Your TIMES welcomes announcements and is pleased to publish them so that Sequoyah County residents can take advantage of the many activities occurring in the county.

SAT. NOV. 9

Reaching New Levels of Faith seminar, Roland Church of Christ, 103 S. Roland Road. Registration at 9:30 a.m., seminar begins at 10. A free lunch will be provided and the public is invited.

Tucker Community Supper, 5 to 7 p.m., Tucker Community Building. Menu includes ham, chicken/dressing, BBQ, veggies, desserts, tea and coffee, $8 adults and $4 children 12 and under. Proceeds will be used for upkeep of Tucker Community Center. Everyone welcome.

MON. NOV. 11

Take-out Dinner at the Bank, 4 to 6 p.m., Marble City. Entrée $12 per plate, includes choice of baked chicken or baked ham, both with dressing, sweet potato casserole, mashed potatoes, gravy, roll and green beans, and choice of pumpkin or apple pie. First annual Veterans Day Pancake Breakfast, 7 to 10 .m., Muldrow Community Center. Free breakfast of pancakes, sausage, eggs. Food and drinks will be served.

Steps to Lower the Risk of Cancer program, Stanley Tubbs Memorial Library, Sallisaw, 9 to 10 a.m.

American Legion and auxiliary meeting, doors open at 5 p.m., meeting 6 p.m., First Baptist Church, 122 W. Chickasaw, Sallisaw. Meetings held second Tuesday of each month. New members, visitors, and anyone interested in joining, always welcome.

Blood drive, 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., Redbird Health Clinic, Sallisaw.

TUES. NOV. 12, 19 & 26

Bible Study, 11 a.m., Trinity United Methodist Church Library. All are welcome. Church located at 1601 E. Shawntel Smith Blvd., Muldrow.

Line dancing exercise class, 5 to 6:30 p.m., Muldrow Cherokee Community Organization Building, 603 N. Main St., Muldrow.

Free crochet classes 2 to 4 p.m. at 3700 W. Cherokee Ave., Blue Ribbon Chapel, Sallisaw, with the Bizzy Beez. Classes held every Thursday. The Bizzy Beez volunteers invite the community to attend and learn how to crochet and enjoy the fellowship. Donation of yarn appreciated. For more information call Margaret Wood at 918-571-3345.

SUN. NOV. 17

Sequoyah County Historical Society meeting, 2 p.m. at the museum, 200 E. Creek, Sallisaw. Daniel Horsechief, Native American artist will be guest speaker. A reception will follow the meeting. Hosted by Mildred Taylor.

MON. NOV. 18
