Pirates fall to Stilwell

STILWELL — The Gore Pirates wrestling team lost 30-18 to the host Stilwell Indians on Tuesday night.

The Pirates (0-2 in duals this season) got two pinfall wins by Bladin McCartney and Antonio Parker, while Kaydin McCartney won by forfeit.

In exhibition matches, Devon Mannon and Jaydan Gates each won by pinfall.

The Pirates edged the Indians 24-23 in the junior high dual.

Stryker Sandy, Jace Gates, Jayden Gates and Treydan Daughtery all won by pinfalls.

The Pirates will participate in the Coweta Tournament on Friday and Saturday to wrap up the pre-Christmas Break portion of the season.
