OHCE delivers treats to residents

Sequoyah County OHCE members made their 12th annual trip on Dec. 20 to deliver sacks of Christmas treats to the residents of Vian and Gore nursing homes. Members include Janis Risley, Sequoyah County FCS Educator, Donna Jamison, County OHCE President and Pat Taylor, County Healthy Living Committee Chair. This annual project rekindles memories of childhood when sacks of candy, nuts and fruit were received at Christmas. It is as rewarding for the OHCE members as it is for the nursing home residents.
