Time capsule revealed

Sallisaw High School seniors recently opened the class time capsule they created back in 2015 as second graders. The project was dreamed up by their second grade teachers to give the students a memory they could revisit 10 years later. Seniors gathered to open their letters, read words from their younger selves, and reflect on how far they’ve come. It was a beautiful reminder of the power of love, hope and dreaming big. Pictured are some of the seniors who were in Mrs. Mendiola’s second grade class.
