Muldrow baseball player named to Native American All-State East Team
Senior Muldrow Bulldogs baseball player Jonah Claborn was named to the Native American East All-State Baseball Team for the Native American All-State Game, which will take place at 6 p.m. June 14 at Bateman Park in Okmulgee.
Claborn, who signed with Lincoln University in a signing ceremony April 28 at Roger Sharp Activity Center and will join his older brother Jacob with the Blue Tigers, made the first team of the All-District 4A-8 Baseball Team.
Claborn eclipsed the 90-strikeout mark for the season and had close to 200 strikeouts for his career.
Former Muldrow baseball coach John Rozell, who resigned after the team went 6-24 this past spring, was named as one of the East team coaches.
