Magic milk

Moffett summer school students enjoyed a science experiment of magic milk, which demonstrates the effects of surface tension and soap on liquids, creating a visually stunning display of swirling colors. By introducing dish soap to milk with nod coloring, the soap disrupts the milk’s surface tension, causing the colored fat molecules to move and create a vibrant, swirling effect.
