It finally happened. The Oklahoma City Thunder, who moved to OKC prior to the 200809 season from Seattle, where they were known as the Seattle S u p e r S o n i c s , finally brought our state capitol city a championship. The Thunder defeated the Indiana Pacers 103-91 in Game 7 of the 2025 National B a s k e t b a l l A s s o c i a t i o n Finals on Sunday night at Paycom Center, after OKC lost Game 6 108--91 on Juneteenth night at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.
