Cowboys fall to Baylor in interim coach’s debut

STILLWATER — With hope of a fresh start, four days after longtime coach Mike Gundy was fired, Oklahoma State hoped for a recharge.

Offensive coordinator Doug Meacham, named as interim coach, made his debut.

The Cowboys fought with determination, showing there was still fight in them. However, Baylor was pretty much in control of the game, and OSU never led as it succumbed 45-27 to the Bears in its Big 12 opener Saturday afternoon at Boone Pickens Stadium.
