Lead in drinking water ‘unlikely’

If you were among those who received a letter last week from the City of Sallisaw regarding possible lead in the city’s water service line pipes, the second sentence of the letter — in which the first two words are highlighted in yellow — is meant to alleviate any concerns and assure residents that the possibility of lead in drinking water is remote, if not non-existent.
