Santa seen in Roland parade

Santa was seen Saturday during the Roland Chamber of Commerce’s annual Christmas parade, sponsored by A/C Solutions Heating & Cooling. Float winners were Short Baptist Church – first place, Liberty Volunteer Fire Department – second place, and third went to the parade marshals, the Roland first and second grade Super Bowl team. In the Antique Car class, first place went to Bobby and Karen Boydston, second was awarded to Larry Osborn, and Carl and Barbara Nevin received third. The chamber wishes to thank everyone that participated this year, their sponsor, volunteers, the town, and both the police and fire departments for making sure parade patrons were kept safe during the event. The chamber will be contacting winners this week to let them know when and where they can pick up their prizes.
