Thunder beats Young, Hawks

Oklahoma City guard Jalen Williams gets ready for a slam dunk during the home game against former Oklahoma Sooners player Trae Young and the Atlanta Hawks on Monday night at Paycom Center. The Thunder defeated the Hawks 140-129 for their second straight win after back-to-back losses to the San Antonio Spurs. The Thunder, who were slated to entertain Portland on New Year’s Eve night, will play tonight at Golden State and Sunday night at Phoenix before returning home Monday night to meet Charlotte.
