Local wrestlers beginning 2026 portion of their season this weekend

Now that Christmas Break has ended, it’s time for the local high school and junior high school wrestlers to begin their 2026 portion of their seasons this weekend.

The Sallisaw Black Diamonds will participate in the Cushing Tiger Invitational, which will be today and Saturday.

The Sallisaw Lady Diamonds and the Vian wrestlers will be in the Inola Tournament, which will begin today and end Saturday.

The Roland wrestlers and the Gore Pirates will represent the county at the Hilldale Tournament, which will be today and Saturday.

The Black Diamonds will have a road dual against Salina at 5 p.m. Tuesday.
