MOFFETT FLOOD CLEANUP BEGINS

JONATHAN MOORE, a middle school teacher at Moffett, was like several other teachers at the school cleaning his classroom. Moore said residents and school faculty were warned each day waters were rising so most removed some items. “We didn’t get all of it so a lot was ruined,” he said.

WORKERS for CCR, a commercial restoration company out of Tulsa, began removing the old floor from the new gym Monday which was completely damaged from the flood. They will do most of the work for the school in getting the mud removed from the floors which will allow volunteers to come in and assist with the rest, a Moffett town official said.

DELAYNA WATTS, first grade teacher for Mof-fett, removes items from the upper part of her classroom. Some books, which the water did not reach could be saved, Watts said.
