Board hears complaints about Bell School teacher

Editor’s Note: Names of parents and grandparents of minor children are being withheld to protect the minors involved.

Parents at Bell School in Adair County appeared before the school board and administration Tuesday night to voice concerns about an elementary teacher whom they said has been “mean and awful” to the students resulting in students 'emotional stress and bed wetting, and forcing some parents to remove their children from Michelle Kee’s first grade class.

Pink ladies

Dressed in their finest pink, these two ladies were among the many women who participated in the first drive-thru Women’s Expo held Thursday which was a “huge success,” Carrie Carberry, Your TIMES advertising manager and coordinator of the annual event, said. Carberry said there were over 350 Positively Pink Swag bags and sack lunches that were given away within the first hour Women’s Expo 2020 began. “We thank everyone including the TIMES Team, local businesses and volunteers who helped with the event,” Carberry, who is handing the bags through the car window, said.
