Raymond Dean Gano
Raymond Dean Gano, 85, passed away on Thursday, Sept. 10, 2020. He was born on Dec. 18, 1934, in Bronson, Iowa, to the late Melvin Gano and Ella Funderman.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a son, Daryl Gano.
He was an Army veteran and received the Good Conduct Medal and National Defense Service Medal. He was of the Assembly of God faith.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Doris; two daughters, Debbie Stofferan and Alfred of Sanborn, Iowa and Diane Klein and Lyle of Sallisaw; one son, David Gano and Janice of Sallisaw; six sisters, Elfay Merical and Robert of Sheldon, Iowa, Virginia Eastman and Richard of Stockton, Calif., Kay Dolphin and Loyd of Hospers, Iowa, Beverly Jensen and Roger of Sheldon, Sandy Farnsworth of Georgia and Cindy McParland of Sanborn, Iowa; one brother, Edward Gano of Sioux Falls, S.D.; four grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
Arrangements are under the direction of Lewis Funeral Chapel.
