Services for Virble Tatham, 97, of Sallisaw, were 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2018, at Apostolic Faith Church in Sallisaw. Burial followed at Sallisaw City Cemetery under the direction of Agent & Mallory-Martin Funeral Service Inc.
She was born on Oct. 17, 1920, in Izard County, Arkansas to Roxie Finley Chrisco and Ben Chrisco and passed away on Thursday, Sept. 6, 2018, in Sallisaw.
She was married to James Leslie Tatham on Jan. 18, 1940, in Sallisaw. He preceded her in death on July 12, 2007.
Mrs. Tatham was a homemaker and a member of Apostolic Faith Church.
Survivors are four daughters, Kay Farley of Sallisaw, Ann Goff and husband, Jay of Claremore, Darlene Kendrick of Muenster, Texas and Debbie Bunch and husband, Wayne of Fairhope, Ala.; one son, Kenneth Tatham and wife, Kathy of Nowata; 15 grandchildren; 38-great-grandchildren; 38 great-great-grandchildren; five nieces; one nephew; and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; one son, James Larry Tatham; one sister, Ruby Burgess; and two brothers, Eldon and Noble Chrisco.
Active pallbearers were Johnny Don Lee, Dan Lee, Jason Goff, Scott Stamps, Travis Tatham and Canaan Hancock.
Viewing was 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday and 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home in Sallisaw. The family greeted from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday.
