Adams joins Your TIMES staff
Lynn Adams, a veteran journalist and native Oklahoman, has joined Your Times family as a staff writer.
Adams began his extensive newspaper career in Wichita Falls, Texas, and has also worked for Oklahoma newspapers in Edmond and Ardmore. His career also includes newsroom positions at daily newspapers in central and southern Ohio, south Texas, southwestern Virginia and southern Indiana. Adams and his wife, Brenda, also published a good-news-only weekly newspaper in central Ohio.

Lynn Adams, a veteran journalist and native Oklahoman, has joined Your Times family as a staff writer.
Adams began his extensive newspaper career in Wichita Falls, Texas, and has also worked for Oklahoma newspapers in Edmond and Ardmore. “Lynn’s knowledge of the newspaper industry will benefit not only our staff but our news content tremendously,” Amie Cato-Remer, editor, said.
Adams is a multiaward-winning journalist, page designer and photographer, earning recognition in Associated Press and state and regional press association competitions in Oklahoma, Indiana, Ohio, Texas and Virginia. He was runner-up for the Journalist of the Year award for the South Texas Press Association.
A graduate of the University of Central Oklahoma, Adams also attended the University of Oklahoma and the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma.
“I am happy to be back in Oklahoma, and appreciate the opportunity to help cover the stories that are important to Sequoyah County and eastern Oklahoma,” Adams says.
