Law enforcement underpaid

Dear Editor,

Coming from a family of law enforcement officers, I know the sacrifices they and their families face i.e. birthdays missed, anniversaries, ballgames and many holidays. Why then would they choose that as a career? The answer is to serve and protect “you.”

Ninety-nine percent of law enforcement officers are wonderful people but an occasional bad one shouldn‚t let you lose respect for all of them.
