Activities going on at Trinity United Methodist Church

Activities going on at Trinity United Methodist Church News Staff Wed, 07/20/2022 - 06:43

There are several activities going on in and around Trinity United Methodist Church (TUMC), located at 1601 East Shawntel Smith Blvd in Muldrow. The church has several fundraisers, silent auctions and Food Ministry events planned, along with a Pastor‚s Bible study, exercising, group meetings, a luncheon, and Vacation Bible School.

Activities include:

*Silent Auction, July 15 to 24, to benefit the Helping Hand Food (HHF) Pantry Building-Phase II. The TUMC HHF Pantry Ministry is available to help people in need. Coordinator Lavonna Smith can be reached at 479- 462-9197.

*Vacation Bible School is still in progress on Thursdays, July 21 and 28.

*Pastor’s Bible Study with Rev. Donald Jones, 11 a.m., Tuesdays. Everyone welcome.

*The Kozie Quilters group meets from 9:30 a.m. to noon on Wednesdays. Linda Wight is president of the group.

*Workout Buddies (low-impact/cardio) exercise group meets from 10 to 10:30 a.m. on Wednesdays.

*Youth Group (grades sixth through 12th) meets at 7 p.m. on Wednesday nights. Dinner is provided. Youth Leaders are Josh and Erin Colbert.

*The ladies group, United Women of Faith (formerly called UMW), meet at 6 p.m. the second Monday of the month.

*Third Thursday Ladies’ Luncheon, honoring the ladies of the church and community. Invitations/RSVP.

*Spaghetti Dinner, HHF Pantry building fundraiser, 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 25.
