Adult game night

Men say they‚re still learning new rules!

(Women say the men don‚t pay attention)

Come join a group of us, on Sunday nights at 5:00 pm, playing Mexican Train dominoes. It is men against the women, lowest score wins. We play with dominoes from double-12s down to double-blanks. There are finger foods to snack on, and a fun laughter-filled time to be had by all. Pastor Don is adjusting to our jovial atmosphere and, possibly, learning more about his congregation than he would like. If you need a good laugh and a stress reliever, COME PLAY WITH US!!

Youth Group news

Youth meets on Wednesday nights from 7 to 9 pm. We welcome all youth ages 12 and up.

A meal is served at 7:00 pm, including a variety of food. Meals have included macaroni and cheese, walking tacos, nachos and pizza, with fruit and cookies for dessert. There is a sign-up sheet on the cork board in the hall across from the kitchen, if you would like to help provide food. After eating, there is a lesson, which at this time is covering Season 1 of “The Chosen.” Games are played for the fun part of the evening, including ’Apples to Apples‚. The pastor joins them. There were 12 youth, attending our Youth Group, for the last two Wednesday nights.

Vacation Bible School

Theme: Squeeze the Day!

Trinity UMC is hosting Vacation Bible School – “SQUEEZE THE DAY!” – on every Thursday in July from 6 p.m. – 8:30 pm, for Pre-K through fifth-graders. Dinner will be offered between 5:00 pm and 5:45 pm for kids wanting a meal before Bible school begins.

Everybody knows: When life gives you lemons, make lemonade. But let‚s add a new twist: When life gives you lemons – add a little bit of prayer, a touch of gratitude, and a whole lot of Jesus to make satisfying LIVIN‚-AID! We‚ll find this recipe over and over in the Bible as God‚s people show us how prayer changed their circumstances.

Please accompany your child(ren) inside the church for registration so we will have all necessary information to care for them. Also, please have them wear play clothes that can get wet during game time and for younger children, you might want to bring a change of clothes. On July 14th, we had 18 children

On July 14th, we had 18 children (Pre-K through 5th grade) attending, with 24 youth workers and 20+ adult workers. We will welcome additional children to come have fun.

Thank you to all the volunteers, both adult and youth, who have been helping with VBS. This includes: bringing food, helping in the kitchen, working the different areas and helping with the kids.

Pastor‚s Bible Study

Pastor Don Jones leads a Bible Study every Tuesday at 11 a.m. in a classroom at Trinity UMC. We are a growing group, of adults and youth, studying the Bible and having discussions over what we‚ve read. Atten dance has been around 22 people.

Ladies Luncheon

One of our church‚s ministries is a Ladies luncheon. It is held on the third Thursday of every month at 11:15 am. Our youth sings for the ladies attending, they are amazing singers and listening to them will be a true blessing for you. Pastor Don gives a devotional and blesses our gathering. Our cooks prepare different meals every month, the goal is to serve meals, which are unique and seasonal.

Please come join in the fun and fellowship. The lunch is free and is prepared and served with love. When wishing to attend, we ask that you, please, RSVP by calling 918-427- 4151.

Muldrow/Roland Trinity United Methodist Church is located at 1601 East Shawntel Smith Blvd in Muldrow. The address is PO Box 430 Muldrow, OK 74948. The church phone number is 918-427-4151. and office hours are from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday to Friday.
